Careless me and prayer request

what a careless mistake........ i thought i will go to YiZhou at 28/12 (Mon) - 2/1 (Sat).... juz found that actually 29/12 (Tue) - 3/1 (Sun).... and i juz found that out two hours b4......... luckily i was not find that out at the airport........... lol.......... i'm really a "Big Head Prawn"
suddenly got one more day left, pay a little visit here.
write a simple prayer letter.... i'd check the last year prayer letter of last year.... should be different with last time...

since this will be second time for me to go there, so i will be reunion with the students of last year.... esp. those students i keep contact by letters. mainly three of them... 2 gals, 1 guy. i've prepare a small gifts for them. as they had remind us not to buy things which would easy compares with others, should be avoid to buy luxury stuffs..... simple as stationery, clothing.... is not suitable..... we would still bring those gifts for them, but should be similar quality for each of them. But the indiviual gifts for our own children... i did spent some time to think which are suitable. Finally i bought novels for 2 of them from same class, as their English level is better. One of them even use English to write me, not bad. i found two books, with ordinary publishing, i don't want too much illustraion would make it become a luxury which can compare with other student.... the English level is just a bit difficult than she can write, i think it will be useful for her. i bought JANE EYRE for my daughter, OLIVER TWIST for my son..... i love the story of Jane Eyre, i read it in my Eng Lit class when i was F.3? i can't remember. Oliver Twist... actually i don't know the whole story abt.... but i think Boy's story for a boy is suitable. Jane Eyre and Oliver Twist both are poor orphan... although those students of mine are not... the stories how they grown up in bad condition can still survive, i think it can give them some inspirations.
and i bought a letter set for another daughter who is studying in another sch.... she seldsom replies me... they said she may not study well so she's not willing to let me know. i juz buy the letter set to encourage her to write more to me. i hope they will like it.

pls pray for our reunion as we are going to build up relationship with them. and hope the workshops are useful for them. The games, songs could break the ice between us.

pls pray for our health as YiZhou are cooler than HK, and the weather forecast will be raining within these few days.... and as u know the hygiene of mainland China is not good... pray that we won't catch a cold, get H1N1.... and the food.... Hot Pot + little spicy.. sometimes oily... pray that our stomach can cope with it.

pls pray for the safety during travel... esp. the shuttle bus travel around.

pls open their hearts, the students, the officers, the teachers, the shuttle bus driver...... etc.

pls pray for my new role for this year.... worship team and photographer.... i wish we can have a unify heart to work for HIM. i wish our voice, our smiles can touch their hearts.

haha.... 3rd post of today.... many things wanna update, juz have time and mood to write here...

i confirmed the air-ticket to Brisbane already, will be leave on 15th March, 2010.... and same day to return at 2011 definitely...

the insurance.... i'm still hesitating, my sister told me the package is not the best one... while i'm not sure what i explained to her is correct or not.... if i can explain to her that accurately, i can be an agent already... seems not bad when the agent explained to me... but i don't know if i'm wise enough....
BTW, i need to save more $$ for that in my entire of life....

many things happened and i'd ever thought of who are being chosen by YOU? no matter how stubborn they are and may YOU have mercy on them all. they need YOU.

Have a little faith

i bought this book for more than a month... the book name and the Author attracted me to buy it. Mitch Albom, the author of Tuesdays with Morrie, the five ppl u meet in heaven and For one more day. Touching and inspiring stories...
i bought this for my teacher as a Christmas present afterwards, i know he reads his books too.
i read a little bit when i had some time on the day i did chest x-ray... it impressed me abt the trip....
have a little faith, even u have faith as small as a mustard seed, u still can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.... that's not only my facebook status, but a message from BSF... Bible Study Fellowship that i attended for a few years.
i can do it! HE will guide me thru' the trip, HE will protect me, look after me, take care on me~ for better or worst, HE is with me ;) i have faith in HIM... he will prepare everything i need. even i may out of job, HE will provide food and living place for me.....
in every different circumstances, i believe HE will send angels to help me, HE will makes me experience HIM...
i still not finished the book yet, juz a few chapters.... Does the book name and introduction misleading me?? i'm not sure...
i will check that out later...

New Book Recommendation

While i was seeking the Christmas present, maximum $50...... it's so hard for me to choose...

but i found this book for myself... 再度放逐, in my translation, EXILE AGAIN....

this book first published at 2008 and she had her WHV trip from 2006 Sep to 2007 Sep. should be more updated then 小女孩大背囊. and compare with 就這樣出走, this book use girls point of view. should be more suitable for me to take note... esp. the list of her baggage... which stuff is useful and useless... and with a little bit illustrations (not too much)

Lot's of books need to read b4 the trip......

this book was bought one to two weeks b4.... it's a diary with lots of illustraions. although this trip was abt middle asia... a two weeks backpacking trip.
i wish i can use this way to record my own trip.... if my drawing is as nice as hers..........

actually i'm still moody.... supposed to take lots of pics today, but i didn't.

i'm missing a frd.... the news was so sudden. i juz heard he got the cancer a few days b4 he passed away. i heard that news from a frd of another group, which i still wonder why God would let me know first... anything God wants me to do?

BTW, life and medical insurance is really an important thing, this incidence makes me aware it's importance... i juz renew the package, esp for me to protect the trip to AU.

i bought the small SanXian yesterday!! Harmony called me and told me the new SanXian from NT store had been delivered to MK, i can go there to take a look.

The praising team need to have a little rehearsal at KLN side, Amy's place. and the meet up place was Prince Edward MTR C2 Entrance, 7pm for dinner. Harmony music co. is also nearby C2, if i arrived there at around 6:45pm, seems i can catch the time.... how "coincidence"!

Since my sister said she can get a discount for me, i called her and asked if she's free tonite.... she said she have some lessons to teach tonite.... i was soooooooooooo disapointed....
but she called me again afterwards and told me she had re-schedule. she can come.... GREAT!!

i took Bus 118..... but traffic jammed seriously.... i called them and said i couldn't join their dinner...
it took extra half an hour for stucking at CWB......
the display one seems better than the one juz taken from the NT store... i chose the display...
and bought a few set spare strings and  bridge, it's important juz in case they broken during the trip.
i got 15% off finally because my sister is familar with the shop keeper, yay!! it's within my budget~~

the mission finished, it's already 7:45pm and it's the time that they planned to move to Amy's flat... i called Ivan and he said they still not finished the dinner yet. He asked me to join them at Mum's Rice Noodles, he's the consultant of that shop, so he treated us a free meal :p

and also he drove us back to home one by one... Mei Ling--> Me-->Carmen--> Ally... good, i saved travelling fee...

i spent alot yesterday, but i also saved alot... discount, free meal and free lift.....
and the timing.... late but could join their meal, same location could do both things, i seldom free on Thurs... but no class this week ;p

Small Size San Xian

i been to MK for seeking a small size SanXian. Before that, i called Carol again for confirming the luggage size for Quotas. she said i can't handcarry it.. i must declare something and it would stick some "easy broken" label on it.... so it is better with a hard case instead of bag.....

and i juz thought of the snake skin drum may have some more trouble to pass the customs inspection...

i juz been to Harmony Music Co. which is the best one for buying Chinese Musical Instruments. At least quality better with fair price.

i found two small SanXian, their design are almost same, one in Red Wood and one in Black Wood. $900 different... i wonder despite the outlook, any big different? if juz for busking, a cheaper one is good enough?? be frank, the black one looks better, but the sound.... i didn't bring my fake nails, so i couldn't test it too much....

there's no stock at MK, so i reserved a red one 1st....

but there's no hard case, only bag....

juz found the info. from cathaypacific it's a must for put the instrument in the hard case.... what should i do??

I bought a new DC recently… it’s not something hi-tech… everything back to simple… a lomo style DC… no zoom in function, can’t set the aperture, no flash light…. Only can set ISO 100 or 800… the view finder is juz a fake one…. Juz can playback the photos after taken the pics…. So I juz can guess what I’m capturing… but sometime this kind of unexpected result is juz like using a film lomo camera… and the noise and high contrast colors… so artistic…. I love it…

It’s light and handy…. It’s suitable for me to bring it along for the trip… I would bring my Canon 450D for sure… but if I go to the field… bring a large cam seems not too good… I can juz take some snap shots anytime I want….

this lomo is good at taking outdoor photos…. So …. I wish I can upload more pics here during the trip….
