South Bank

followed Camel's recommendation, i'd been to South Bank yesterday. There's a lifestyle market.

i took a bus to the Cultural Center, the station after South Bank.

i walked around at the art museum area. free entry is great! the nearest area is Asian Art... Chinese sculpture, Japanese Ukiyoe..... not much big interest on them....

then i saw a installation artwork... a middle east style building, with some still water around.... a little path walk to the building.... the artist request the audience to have a calm and peaceful mind to walk that path.

after that, i was attracted by a hugh rubbish hill.... some reuse materials form a hill... such as papers, straws, strings, sticks........ many planes made by these materials were hung on the walls and from the ceiling.... some ppl includings kids and adults were doing their own plane.... many cute babies and kids..... i made my own plane too.... i enjoyed this moment....

then, i watched some paintings.... i think the most famous one must be Edgar Degas, the one who drawn many ballet dancers... and then Anthony Van Eyck (i believe he's the offspring of Jan Van Eyck).... for other artists, never rang my bell before....

before leaving the museum, i asked the staffs for how to go the market.... she given me a map.
i walked pass the Brisbane wheel.... $15 for one ride.... may try next time with some frds.

there some large birds at the river side... don't know the name of this kind of birds... with a long long black beak.. i think it would eat our food... so i won't have meal at the river side restaurant!!

some ppl busking at the lifestyle market.... um... the guitar player is so great, the songs he played was lovely..... sigh.... should be in that quality if i really want to busking.... practice more first. and the other couple were stayed still, wore victoria times clothes with white face make-up. when ppl pay them, they moved and given a bow.... i saw their eyes moving.... not really professional.... lol

after i came back to Carindale, i met up with Jo for shopping at supermarket. i treated myself better, bought some more meats for cooking better dinner.
when i chatted with the landlord at the meal, he said the korean guy will be move in next week. we should make a big meal and have a little orientation.
he told me the church he's attending is a korean church, otherwise, i should ask him to bring me there. no church today ;(
where's the nearest Church?!
