My Apartment

while i saw the sink start dirty again, and since i had day off on Fri, i planned to do some house cleaning after preparing the meal....
when i go shopping at BigW, beside bought some cookig equiments, i also bought some sponges....
then b4 i prepare the meal, i put one sponge at kithen and one for washing room....
my new flatmate taken a shower in between that time (i spent around 3 hours non-stop=p)

from 5:XXpm to 8:XXpm... just for the Hainanese Chicken....
after the meal, when i taken the shower, i found that...... eee... someone cleaned the sink using my new sponge............

yesterday, i thought of cleaning the floor.... eee..... the floor seems cleaner... the old dirt gone......
then i found that a towel is on the floor outside the shower....... and the dirt at the corner of the toilet gone also.....
those stuff beside the sink seems rearraged......
i believe that was done by the new flatmate?
Thanks God, someone would do the housework.... i don't have to work that much.... my hand is still not recover yet, can't work too much...

but i still want to share a weird thing.......
last week, there's a couple... at the beginning, just the guy looking for a place to stay..... the gal has a place already.....
but guys room are full... only the double room are availble.... but the rent and bond is expensive...
my landlord sent me a SMS asked me if i mind to share my room with a guy.......... OMG! share a room with a male stranger........... i really don't want......... esp. i know he got a girlfrd =p
i refused. then they finally didn't move in...
after two days, i saw they used the kitchen after i came back.... i thought... they finally make up their mind and move in to the expensive double room?!
one day when i came back home, i met the gal while going back home.... she asked me if she can left her luggage at my room since she will come back on Mon.... i thought she's going to have a short trip so don't want to bring so much luggage?
the next day after work, her luggage is already on my closet with a memo.......

another gal who moved out, but came back to stay at that double room too...

my flatmate told me actually three of them didn't pay for the rent........
for those couple, only the gal had been pay 1 day rent and stayed one day b4......... but pretended familiar with my flatmate and stay here secretly....

7 of us, 3 didn't pay for the rent........ what's a hell..........

i temp. occupying the room alone.... enjoying it... since i have to move to living room at the week 21/10-28/10.....

In His time

arrived Melbourne for one month, after cheated by the landlord, lived at a messy haunted house... moved to new place, the new place from dirty to clean.......
working so hard... got problem on my hand..... run of $ and still need to wait the pay day...... meeting a good boss........ lots of things want to share...
i'm trying my best to arrange...
after i moved on to melb, moved for twice... almost spent all my saving....... franky say, i saw my bank account only got AUD$3 left yesterday........ including the AUD$20 note... totally AUD$23......... so u know how critical my situation was...... backpacker, run of $..... long time didn't run out $ like that at HK....
since my hand got problem... possibly due to work....... i feel numb, then after that became pain..... esp. during sleep... and sometimes i felt i hardly hold a pen or chopsticks... everyone asked me to consult doctor... but really no $.......
some people know my situation and asked if i need fincial help.... but...... i really don't feel comfortable to borrow $ from others........ i rejected....
i thought of pay by card... but... my saving in HK are for my to pay for the insurance and some installment on my DSRL and California Fitness membership... i don't want to spend too much (finally i know that it's actually just AUD$70, not an astronomical amount=p) and the currency is now AUD$1=HKD$7.6... it's not good for me to use too much my HK credit card...
my colleagues told me normally we need to wait till wed, if new staff, may need to wait till thurs.... today is tue, but i got the pay today.
this morning, i missed the train, so i have time to wait the next train and i juz went to the ATM and checked my acc...... i was so surprise since i really got the pay...... while i was waiting the train, i wept..... coz i thought God's grace is sooooooooo great..... God's timing is perfect!
and since i got the next train, i met a colleague, when we changed the uniform, she saw my cross pendant and asked me if i'm a christian... she is christian as well.... so i shared a bit why i was so glad to get the pay today...­

flash back to yesterday.... while i was lunch at canteen...  Tony, our manager sat beside me... he saw me prayed during lunch... he said, "u r christian too?!" than we chatted a bit abt that and he said there's a few christians at our factory, and asked me if i found them out already....
ha, today i found one of them....

also since some of the colleagues, includes working holiday ppl or PR chatted with me abt the visa.... get a 2nd working holiday visa or working visa or back to HK....... Helen, my senior told me if i working hard, everything can be negotiate...... can be change to working visa....

while i was having meal at canteen, i found a box of cookies of our brand.... coconut macorons...  but the design........ i can do it better...
while during the lunch with Tony sat beside me, i asked if the in-house designer quit the job, let's consider me! he told me actually don't have to wait that designer left.... i can try.... i'm not sure if this is a way for me to get a working visa and stay here. started from long time ago, i like living at western ppl countries... if i can stay at Aussie..... it will be great....
but actually designer is not the field that count as special skills occupations... but baker is.... so.........

comparing while i first arrive Brissy and Melb.... both time i planned to busking.... i always think if i'm out of job, then busking.... but i'm wrong...
Brissy need to audition for getting the permit... which need to wait two months.... in Melb... mayb it's easiler to get the permit... but my SanXian was broken.... and still claiming.... God tells me, i have to experience him, don't think everything are that easy, something i can't control myself....
both faced even someone introduce job to me, but need to wait to confirm... still had a time that made me feel despair..... that's what God's planning on me... since He wants me to experience Him... if everything is that smooth, will i remember Him?
again, this trip is a trip of faith...

life in Breadtop

i think it's time for me to write something abt my work at Breadtop. I work in the factory instead of shop...  http://www.breadtop.com.au/
it's already the third week i'm working there, i start to get used to long working hours and wake up early. but seems my body is not really cope with it... my right hand always got paralysis.... chatted with Mum on phone, she said sometimes ppl repeat doing same thing would make this happened... what i can do it do more massage myself...
okay, back to my work. my company is an Australian-based bakery franchise selling a wide range of bread, cakes, buns and pastries.  Currently the franchise has 25 stores throughout Sydney and Melbourne, with four stores in Brisbane with a new store opened in Adelaide at the end of March 2010.  from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Breadtop
my department basically doing chinese traditional bread like butterfly cookies, pineapple cakes, almond cookies, wife cakes, red bean cakes, sesame balls, lotus seed cakes, Phoenix Cookie, coconut cookies...... etc.

we normally have four people in our department. our master, senior Helen, senior Hin and me... the first few days, there's master Kit also... but at that time, Senior Hin was in sick leave... he got serious injury on his finger b4... had one month sick leave... these two senior was actually younger than me... but they are PR already. Master and Hin are from HK while Helen is from Guang Zhou... her cantonese is not very good but she doesn't prefer me to speak Mandarin... she thinks her cantonese is better than my mandarin wor........ but....... i don't know why i've got no any communication problem w/ Taiwanese, they even think my Mandarin is not bad..... mayb  my Mandarin is Taiwan style??
for my work.... if doing Wife Cake or red bean cakes, my role is to apply egg wash, stamp them, add sesame on top, or some decoration....
for those cookies, u know actually they would prepare a long piece of cookies and i use machine to cut it into piece, distribute on the tray and ready to bake. i actually tried to help to make the long piece of butterfly cookies... and know that how to fold is so important, since the b4 and after bake are so different, it would be very ugly if fold it badly.
the most complicated thing is Phoenix Cookies i think.... we do a lot of preparations... and i still not see the whole process yet... will know it tmr?
today, i prepared the shallot........ it made me cry........ a few days b4, i needed to peel them which took a long time... and today i blended it ... i'm afraid someone would think i really cry....... lol.
for the pineapple cake, it actually semi-automatic... the machine would make balls with skin and filling inside, like a UFO shape, then we need to put them into the mould and press them...
since it's mass production, we need to do it very fast.... cookies, sesame ball as well.... we need to be very fast and don't let the machines faster than us...
and there would be some clean up work everyday as well, everytime we used the machines, we need to clean it... and i learn how to assemble them too.... sometimes i use an air blow gun to clean the dirt, it feels like a dentist... cleaning the teeth=p
since Senior Hin got injury b4.... it makes me take care myself all the time... esp. using the machine.... i will be careful, don't worry=)

I was the passenger who took the QF637 flight from Brisbane to Melbourne on 11Sep, 2010. When i checked in my baggage, your staff told me my Chinese musical instrument, SanXian was too long and domestic flight is different from international flight, it could not allowed to handcarry myself. They given it a fragile tag and promised would be take extra care and would be seperate it with other baggages and needed to get it back at another special counter. After I got off the flight and got back my baggage, I found it came out with other baggages in the conveyor belts. Unfortunately, I found it was broken and went to the counter to reported this case. They given me a letter and my reference no. is MELQF67040.
After I took my broken SanXian to your repairer, Sweeney's Luggage Center, they told me it is not repairable and given me a proof letter. They asked me to go for Allans Music and they told me since it's a Chinese musical instrument and they are not familiar with it. Even they may repair it, but the fee is possibly much expensive than the musical instrument's original value.
Therefore I would prefer replace a new SanXian.
I tried to get a quote from Hong Kong where i bought my SanXian which is about the same style with my original one. TSXL01 in HKD$3,200.
Enclosed the proof letter from Sweeney's Luggage Center and the quotation from Hong Kong Harmony Music Company.
Since I need this SanXian for busking during my stay at Melbourne, I wish I can get the new SanXian as soon as possible.
Please advise the procedure and I am looking for your reply. If there's any question or missing informations, please don't hesitate to contact with me.

finally i've got some time and mood to drop down a testimony on the days recently... really thanks brothers and sisters' prayer support.

tell something more about why i have to go from Brissy to Melb....
when i was in Brissy, everythings was smooth... the days are relaxing... work for a few hours a day... hang out with frds to eat, drink, coffee... stay at May's place, even can sometimes painting, dancing, running, sun tanning.... i almost forgot why i planned to have working holiday here. i actually planned to travel around, to experience God, to be a good testimony for Him...
before i arrived Aussie, i believe it's God's will on me to come over. Just like Abraham, God told him to leave Haran and go to Canaan.

Melbourne is an Artistic city, strong street busking.... as a graphic designer... and also a SanXian player...... i must visit this place as i planned to busking while Brissy always not allow me to do so........

before i resign... i wonder how would my supervisor Carol feel when i resign... since after Alice left, i worked for the open shop shift almost everyday... not much colleagues can works everyday since most of them are students...
i asked Chris, another colleauge who would leave soon... she told me actually Carol are leaving soon... she possibly won't care abt it.... huh?! so i told her the next day... yea, just as what Chris told me... even she was excited abt my life in Melbourne:)   just found that all my worries were so silly.... she told me i can get the reference letter from my boss too... what a good company... i never thought of this kind of job would do that....

one more thing, the tax return form were received just on time..... i could finished it right at the last day i work at LS and the next day got on the flight to Melb. and Wai Wai was so considerate that she given me all my salary on my last day... i told her i don't have time to wash my uniform b4 i return it, she said she would help me to wash........ so so so adorable ^3^

no matter what, Little Singapore (esp. City) is really a good place to work... love this family... the colleagues are so friendly and funny.... i almost forgot my real age :p

suddenly i got one reply... he sent me photos.... seems not bad and looked from the map... seems not too far away from Collingwood, the breadtop bakery that i planned to work for...
since i'm afraid someone would rent this place, i tranfered the $ to the landlord asap....
i actually worried will he cheated me? got my $ and disappeared... but i thought... i've got his mobile phone #, bank account, our SMS and email record... if he's really cheating me, i still can call police and traced back everything....
he finally cheated me in another way.....................

the photo he given me was actually another room... he didn't show the common area... the kitchen, bathroom................ it's soooooo sooooo horrible...

job hunting that few days... since the roomate of YHA given me her monthly ticket... i've got a few days to travel everywhere for free..... so i went to city everyday.... job hunting and find a new shareroom.... still no news from Breadtop.... only one job hired me.... that's Heng's recommended Crispy pork belly rice's place... Pacific BBQ cafe.... but $7 per hour..... Little Singapore given me $15.56 per hour..... so i really wanted to leave it......... anyway... they told me i can called them on Sun to get the roster of that week.... that means i should make the decision on Sunday.

seems no any response from other restaurants... i walked around city... and chinatown as well.... mainly given my CV to those Chinese Restaurants... Malaysian restaurants as well, since i believe my working experience and cantonese at LS may help.... yea, more chance to chat more while i given my CV... seems would get a job soon.... but no calls......
on-line applied some cafe job as well.... no reply.......

forgot to mention my Sanxian.... i was broken during the flight... so i couldn't busk also.... see people busking, but really no mood to give them $.....

i suddenly received a SMS from Shu shu's frd, she told me to call Breadtop manager myself....
so i given him a call the next day... he asked me to come and have an interview.....

finally i had an interview today... i waited the train for quite a while, and lost at Collingwood.... finally i lated for an hour..... that's so bad to late that much for interview... but the manager is so nice... he asked me some questions and given me some forms to fill in... tried to work an hour, for me to know how the work will be and if i really like this job (instead of how my performance).... he knows i need to change train at City and can't start work at 5am... even may late at 6am... so he told me to check how earliest i could arrive... everything is so negotiable...
anyway, today is Sunday.... the day that i should make the decision to work at Pacific or not......... and May will go back to Brissy tmr, i given her the good news...

perfect timing!! everythings is under His providence :) my God is so different, right?!

urgent prayer request

Peace, Land and Bread....

Peace: pray that i still keep faith in God, no matter in what circumstances. also pls pray for my health, since it's so cold here, and it's raining while i was walking in the city, no umbrella.... fortunately (thanks God), i didn't get deeply wet, just the coat and hair... but my roomate got flu seriously, cough during whole day... it's really easy for me to get sick... what i can do is only drink the hot lemon that i brought from HK...

Land: the place i'm staying is really like a hell... bad smell when i go inside the room....everywhere is messy... the kitchen is so old and i even don't want to cook....everywhere is dirty.... i dont think doing house cleaning will help alot, that's just their custom... the internet is not stable, esp. night time.... they said someone downloaded movie... so it become slow.... i can only use it at non-peak time...
but i actually paid one month rent.... he asked me to give him one more month rent as bond, he didn't tell me abt this b4... and surely in this case, i won't give him anymore... i argued with my landlord today, he told me then stay 3 weeks and no return... so i actually loss 1 week rent... but i really wanna go.... 真係豪俾你算喇.... when i rent new place, i need to pay bond and rent again.... hope my little $$ is enough for me to live b4 i get the pay from new job.

Bread: i still not start working yet... job hunting today, got one job but really low pay, less than half pay of Little Singapore... really need to think thru... take it or leave it? the bread bakery job is not confirmed, but just got some news abt that again.... hopefully i can get this job.but i heard that it's pay monthly... so even i got this job, i may still need to wait a month to get the pay, then within these days, really eat bread?? really want to earn enough $ to travel around....

went to Westend for brunch... planned to back "Chan Chi Ming's place" but we missed the breakfast session... oh, my blood pudding='(
changed to brunch at another place and one more coffee at "Cup"...

say goodbye to them, say goodbye to Brissy.. i'll be back~~
had the meal at the plane while thinking of how's their dinner at Heng's place... i missed it...

picked up my baggage... how come i found my Sanxian with other baggage together while they told me i should get it back from a special counter...
while i picked it up, it's seems abnormal.... i opened it and checked, damn it!!!  the neck had been broken......
i went to the counter and asked for help... they told me i should call Qantas for that... either repair it or get a new one.... but as a Chinese musical instrument.... i don't think i can repair it here.... and this is not a really expensive one, repair it is actually wasting $$... what the best method is to buy a new one and given the receipt and claim for it... it takes time, u know.... I WANT TO GO BUSKING!!!!!!!!!

whatever.... i took the skybus and got to Melb city... a lady asked me if i'm a tourist and where i'm going to... she told me YHA is just a few blocks, yea, from the map it is... but she recommended me to take a tram and shown me which tram i should take....
but after i got on the tram, and asked other passenger if i should get off there... they told me i actually got a wrong tram.... huh?!
i got off the tram and tried to find the right one... failed to do so...
i wanted to get a taxi, but the taxi driver seems don't understand where i'm going to... i given up...
i asked ppl where's Flinder street, they pointed and told me at the end of the street.... okay... by walk then... but after Flinder street, i actually still needed to walk thru Spencer street.... i asked another two men, and they seems going there too... i was too brave to go there with them. but finally i got there....

there's another Chinese gal, Chi Hung from BJ as my roomate... but 4 shared room as a result only 2 ppl shared for the first day...
the bed is so comfy...

at the next day, i chatted with Chi Hung. she shared her breakfast with me... i asked where would she spent her Sunday... she told me her ex-colleague invited her to church, but she's actually not a christian... i begged her to bring me there XD
we took the train to Boxhill... Sunday saver ticket is juz 3.XX bucks for whole day, great!!
Boxhill is a chinese  ppl area, seems so many chinese food can be found.... her frd treated us, we enjoyed a shallot pancake and sour chilli soup.... the shallot pancakes were so nice!

they asked me to join the Mandarin with english translation service while is for youth and they attended the adult mandarin service....
for me, i prefer the English morning service since either Mandarin or English are not my mother tongue, i think english one's atmosphere would be better.... the Mandarin with english translation service is for teenage, i think i'm too old... but the mandarin service are mainly mid-age adult... juz no age between like me....
but let's see if there's another church near my place later.

Chi Hung prepared the dinner and shared with me... with Red Wine, cool! we chatted with the old man whose from UK but borned at Aussie. he's a retired civil servant... he had interest on how's the different for HK after the retured at 1997... franky say, i love UK governors... they fed me while i was growing up since my dad was cilvil servant too... i love Chris Patten=)
okay, stop say too much, ppl would know how old i am XD...
but good chatted with this old man....

i chatted with my another roomate too... she's from Swissland... a student but in working holiday... need to back to school soon but her bf would cont' his WH trip.... they would be in distance, she said she sad abt that...
i enjoy to chat with ppl in different nations... ha, so i should stay more at backpacker hostel?!

International City Church, ICC

since someone asked me abt the church info, i suddenly remembered the first church that i been to after i arrived Brissy. that's Internation City Church at Valley...
but after i got lunch shift on Sunday before, i chose another church which is at City and the time is just good fit to work for 10:30am shift.
from last month, i don't have to work on Sunday, but i still went to same church at City.
but this week, i thought of going to ICC again.

long long way to get there after got off the train... it takes 10-15mins... it's juz opposite to Emporium... 977, Ann Street.
the worship time is always great & touching ...

after the sevice, amazing thing happened...
i saw Lily, the malaysian chef of my working place....

i called her and chatted for a while. just found that she goes to this church, and she got 4 children already... she introduced her 3rd daughter to me, she's around 1X year old, i think not more than 20... sometimes when she called me "Mui Mui", i would think "i'm not that young actually=p" but in her eyes, i'm really a mui mui since she's got 4 children already...
she asked who brought me there, i just search from internet b4... she said why i didn't ask her... how could i know she goes to church=p
i told her abt my leave, but we will still meet in this two weeks...


how amazine!!  if i chose to go the church at City, i would never know she's a christian too...

365 days of love

today, after work and sun tanning... i went to the bus stop and waited for the bus. saw the
444 bus came but it just stopped for passenger got off only. then i checked the schedule and the bus would arrive around 10 mins.... 
in this 10 mins, i found many many elderly there.... i guess coz of after the Mama Mia show??
some of them checking the bus schedule, some screwed their eyes, some seems confusing...
i'm willing to help but a bit shy.....
after a few elderly gone, another old man came and looked at the schedule again.... the time was abt 4:4Xpm and his eyes was browsing around 2:XXpm... i pointed to 4pm area and told him should be around there... he first saw his bus at 4:32pm, i told him it should be gone, let's check the next bus... should be at 4:47pm... i told him it would come a few minutes later.... he thumb up and thanked me... just a simple thing... but  i felt great...

inspired from Jaeson Ma, his 365 days of love.... don't know if added him at facebook... i sometimes received his newsletter.... he sometimes did some project to serve others to show God's love... sometimes looks amusing but i enjoyed it all the time.... i think he's great!!
juz a little thing, can bless those who around us.... 

while i was on the way home.... i suddenly thought of actually i can do a project myself... stay at the bus stop and help those who need help... 


for today, if the bus not coming that early, i would like to help a few more ppl... mayb next time=)

Visit Annie's place

received a msg from Susan yesterday morning just b4 work. she invited me to join their Zumba Fitness party at  Annie's place.
so after work, i backed home and changed a suitable outfit and got on May's car and got there.

first thing impressed me was their garden, they planted alot of vegetables... they got a green house as well, but not much things inside...
i saw auntie picked a bucket of fishes as fertilizer... i understand the concept but didn't know someone is using this way to plant crops........  
we walked to have a look on the house just nearby which is selling.... but after chatted with a guy outside the house, we found that it's sold out, someone pay for the bond already...

May left afterwards for run...
Susan bought her Zumba Fitness DVD set and we chose the 40 mins cardio party.
Susan, Annie, her mum and Aunties plus me danced together... her mum and aunties quited half way.... actually it's a bit short if comparing to the real class.... but still learned some new moves from the DVD.
they got Karaoke as well, although mainly Taiwan's mandarin songs.

we had dinner b4 the K.... i saw auntie prayed for the meal... she said Amen loudly...
the meal was good, a little bit Taiwan style since they are a Taiwan family. we had fish,bitter squash, meat cake,  peanuts, some preserved vege... and a good fish soup that they fished themselves that morning... 
during the meal, when i looked up the wall... i saw a plaque writen 基督是主 Christ is our Lord. ...

After Aftershock

watched Aftershock with May at Sunnybank AMC, the only cinema shows this movie.
as many HK frds highly recommended, and as being a Chinese, i should watch it anyway.
昨天問朋友有沒有興趣看, 反被問及為何如此想看.... 真過份!
without knowing the director, without knowing the whole storyline... only watched the trailer... why not? need not to be care too much, many ppl recommended... i actually seldom watch Chinese movies... but this one is really attractive.
know too much abt the storyline is not good either, i don't want to predict the scenes.
so if u want to watch the movie later, don't read the comments below.............

without describe too much abt the earthquake and the rescue since it's not the main theme but the prelude. since this is not a disaster film like 柴犬奇蹟物語 (A Tale of Mari and Three Puppies) or 2012, Knowing, The Day the earth stood still.... those story abt the end of the world...
yea, coz it's actually really abt "Aftershock".... so i think the English name is more telling the story but 唐山大地震 would be more vibrating for sure. 
i quite like the fonts of  唐山大地震...

Sacrifice
當兩個只能活一個, 你救哪一個? it's really hard to choose... both are your children, save whose life? in my point of view, the mum save the little brother not only because his gender, but he's keep calling his mum for saving his life while the sister couldn't say anything but crashing the stone. the younger ones always got privilege... that's the normal (: as i'm the youngest child.... kekekke...
but their mum sacrifice her entire life, her fortune to fulfill her belief... their ghost couldn't get home if they moved too far away. 

Persimmon -- promise
that's the most touching part i think.
b4 the earthquake, there was a scene that only one persimmon left, the mum given it to the little brother, the daughter complainted her mum favouritism... the mum promised to buy her the next day.... at that night, the accident made her couldn't complete her promised.
after 32 years, their reunion scene... her mum prepared a few persimmons for her... no matter how old she is... she still remember that after all these years......... as she had promised... really meant it, not just a lie to a child. 


Pregnant scene
the daughter got pregnant with her bf, while her bf asked her to do an induced abortion....
such an irresponsible guy... this made me think of my frd who also got such experience while she chose the same thing with the leading lady...  give birth to baby and left the guy.
the most funny thing is when the adpoted father slapped the bf, an audience was too excited and yelled "打得好!!" in mandarin... really rofl XD

Coherence
it links up with the Sichuan earthquake at the end of the story...
another story begins to lead u have a little flashback. back to the scene that the mum made the choice...

Director
since the director Xiaogang Feng is familiar with comedy... so humourous scene are between. not crying scene for the whole movie...
14X mins... long movie but not boring at all.

cry or not, so depends... May didn't cry, i did. i'm emotional... but not only me, i seen ppl's crying eyes after Aftershock...

i dreamed a dream

有人說夢都包含一些意思, 可能是反映現實生活, 亦可能是潛意識想著某些事.... 不過有時候都會只是將生活一些零碎的片段加以想像再剪輯成一個夢, 可以無需講理由, 有時候人物場景都可以隨時轉換....
我剛發了一個夢, 夢醒了就睡不著了.... 要起床把我的夢記下來.....

我夢見要Order dessert... 當朋友們都Order 了, 收了Menu.... 到我的時候, Waiter 忽然走了... 其他朋友都在享受他們的dessert, 當然我也有分享他們的食物, 都很好吃, 好像有Cheese cake.
我不斷呼喚Waiter何時可以Order, 好像也繞嚷了一段時間, 朋友都吃完他們的甜品了... 我跟朋友說其實都飽了, 是不是應該放棄? 好像是朋友鼓勵我要堅持Order...
終於Waiter 來了, 我把要的甜品告訴他.... 他好像不敢相信.... 再把Menu 給我看著來點, 沒錯, 就是這一款.... 好像是有藍莓的雪糕... 我好奇地問有什麼問題? 他說為何點得那麼簡單清淡?? 我說就是喜歡這個味道. 後來我醒來了... 記不起甜品最後來了沒有, 味道如何...

我嘗試把夢解析一下....
我把這個dessert 理解為愛情... 當朋友們都拍拖, 談婚論嫁的時候.... 我還是單身一個... 其實我也想嘗試戀愛的味道, 可是等了很久都沒有機會... 朋友們都樂意分享他們的喜悅.........
我尋尋覓覓，冷冷清清，悽悽慘慘戚戚一番之後, 反正都絕望了, 不如放棄吧......... 朋友卻鼓勵我, 書本也教導我, i deserved a good one...
有時朋友都覺得我picky, 也有不相信我沒有拍拖....... 其實我的要求也很簡單........  在夢裡面, 還是沒有嘗到"愛的聖代"的滋味.......

好了, 應該繼續安睡, 希望能為故事有個好的結尾=)

Busking Audition

didn't notify too many people for my busking audition this time, i don't want to be like last time...

actually, from last audition... after the failured.... i was quite depressed and didn't even touch my Sanxian for almost one month..... i thought the next audition should be abt 3 months after last audition at late May.
i wanted to check for the date, but always forgot.... once i remembered and took action at the Brisbane City Council office, i found that it would be 10 days afterwards.... huh?!
i applied it anyway and started practicing again....
while i was applying, the staff asked if i am the gal that i played a plucked strings instrument... he remember me! he told me why i was failed last time coz of the sound.... it's too soft, in the busy mall, too soft ppl can't hearing it.... actually how can i solve this problem, i can't use amplifier thus i don't have it anyway...
no music stand for me to hold my score looks not professional also.... Heng said i should remember the song without the score.... yea, i know, but i always think while i'm nervous, i will forget what i'm playing....
but finally i still tried my best to remember the song.... and chose a song that is stronger than what i chose last time....
and i practiced stand while playing.... normally i don't see any Sanxian player do so....

yesterday, Sat morning, 9-11am at Queen Street Mall. i arrived 10 mins earlier.... they still not set up everythings yet... i got prepared myself on one side, tuned the strings, played a little bit.... quite smooths at that moment.....
i checked the list, i should be at the 15th... out of around 30 ppl...
i chose not to sit at their seats, and sat at the side, juz opposite to the judges... i think i could tune my SanXian without bordering other pre-buskers if needed... one of the judge was same as last time, i saw him at some Queen Street Mall functions sometimes.... but the one who i saw at the application time was not there...
many guitar players like last time.... when the judge called the names, some were not there.... so he tried to ask those who looks ready to play....
while i was waiting.... i started shivering and my fingers almost couldn't move.... i blowed my palms and put them inside my sleeves... the judge saw it.... he given privileged for me and called my name earlier.... my Chinese surname is so easy to find it out....
i asked a girl who's juz an audience to take video for me...
i was still a bit nervous.... but seems the song is louder than last time... mayb coz of the song... mayb coz of Sat morning, the mall was not that busy....
the string suddenly loosen.... i heard weird sound.... i wondered if i should stop and tune it... after a few seconds, i stopped.... i looked at the judge and requested for play it again.... he looks kind and given me a "as u like it..." expressions....
i played again.... a bit shaking fingers.... couldn't give the best.... but i remembered the song without the score...
and i've got no idea on how my voice would be at the mall.... but i heard a bit echo... amazing!
and while i played back the video, seems not as nervous as i felt on the stage.... that's really an Amazing Grace!!
a few ppl chatted with me while i was finished and watched how others pre-buskers' performance.... some are great, esp. the crew with a gippy look gal... her voices and expressions are awesome!! the best crew ever!
one Aussie gal asked me if i heard of the movie MEMOIRS OF A GEISHA.... if my sanxian same with that.... i told her mine is chinese and that's japanese... mine is cover with snakes skins but japanese is CAT skins..... i use false nails and they use specific big pluck..... but basically, they are similar stuff....
last time while i was back home, a Aussie gal asked me if this is Erhu.... i was so surprised that she knows what's Erhu....
i think it's really a good thing to chat with others in this way...

the result will be notify abt one week.... hopefully i can success this time=)

what i did with no internet

out of internet for a few days... it's really hard times for me....
no facebook, no internet, even couldn't check the roster.... i juz spent some time at library to update a little bit.
no internet, i did some more other things.... practice sanxian, paintings, reading (i borrowed a book at library)......... and slept early .... slept b4 10pm.... incredible...

ran the dog with May yesterday... the dog, Grace is her neighbour's dog, a 6 months old small dog.... hyperactive.... she runs so fast, it's good to with her accompany, at least can keep a fast pace.... but i loose  my breath.........
May told me we would run 10km... but as a result, 15km... she chose a longer way and got to the old path that we didn't run for a long time since the road constructions.... that old route is already 10km.... hips don't lie, my butt....
and the pervious injury of my feet started pain at the last 2-3km.... so i walk and jogged till the end... i think i can run longer and longer, the pain appears later then previous everytime... it's affect that it's recovering... 15km... i didn't try b4 even b4 the injury, so that's normal for me...

did lots of stretching b4 sleep, seems not much pain now, i can do so much better.

music jam

almost run of time, but want to update my blog.
sat nite, i had japanese hot pot with frds... planned to eat ramen, but we were late, they last order time past already. so we changed to "all u can eat hot pot", $18.XX... okay wor... so full...

we when to Susan's place for drinking afterwards. that's first time for me to visit her place...
since i claimed i never drunk b4... they wanted to make me drunk... but i controlled myself.... they didn't success=p

after saw they have 3 guitars and keyboard... i told them abt my audition on next sat... Susan suddenly remember she got a Erhu.... but in bad conditions... the string were loose... the bridge was away.... i tried hard to tune it.... but not really successed... juz could prelim played 一起走過的日子's prelude uglily=p
after that jason played guitar, susan played keyboard, heng and i sang a lot... i jam a little bit keyboard with susan.... that's what i used to jam with my sister...
although some songs never rang my bell b4, but i think the time was great... i enjoyed it.
forgot how long time we had sing... only know we reached home at 3am... KO all the alcohol on the table...

Sunday morning, backed to Church as usual then go to work directly.

i'm the one who open the shop. when i juz arrived, the kitchen hand lady looked at my outfit, told me she seems saw me at the train.... i asked, i took the train one hour before..... u were that early also?? she said since not much train, she could only choose that one.... really missed HK's MTR........

comparing with weekdays lunch, today is relatively free.
the most special customers should be table No. 6........... haha... May, Max and Heng came.... feels like 有朋自遠方來, 不亦樂乎.... although not really from far away.... from Toowong only =p
i'd ever thought how would it be if they come while i'm working, and today, they really surprised me........ at that time, i was juz ready to serve those coming in customers... when i saw their face, "wa......... what's happened?!" with glad feeling=D
i thought i should pretend treat them as normal customers, says i should say "hi, how are u?" with higher pitch........ "table for 3?" .... but i could'nt.... haha... juz used cantonese... i actually seldom use cantonese even i heard customers chat with cantonese.... only if customers using mandarin or cantonese to order, i would reply them in that language.

sometimes customers do asked me to suggest which dishes are better to order, but for them, i should say, be frank, most of them i didn't try them b4..... but more ppl order that... which looks nice....

Heng ordered Kapitan Chicken, Max ordered Roti Curry Lamb... May actually wanted to order Hainanese Chicken, but i told her not to order that, i can bring her some anytime later.... so she changed Chilli Prawn...
Max told me when he went to Sunny Bank LS.... they said there's no 鴛鴦.... actually that's coffee Milk Tea and he ordered that here today...
May ordered Rose Milk Tea, mayb cause i'd made it myself and left some for her a few days b4? in this case, i'm actually promoting our food and drinks=p
Heng ordered soya milk, he asked if it can 飛沙走奶...... ha.... actually, soya milk is juz ready-made things.... only can change to hot or no ice..... and that's not milk tea.... 唔好玩野呀, 0靚仔!
when i saw the order for table 6, i was glad and told colleagues, "Let me serve=D"
almost forgot to take off the order sheet to the case....
but unfortunately, no curry lamb today........ so Max changed the order to Laksa.

they came too early.... otherwise, i might ask them to stay till i finish work, changed the uniform, take my lunch and eat with them.... haha....

when they left and paid the bill, again, i seized this duty..... i saw my colleague wanted to go to cashier... but i was faster=p

i wonder if i can give them free drinks.... secretly.... made by myself...... mayb next time=p

i kept promise to bring Hainanese Chicken home... and after i prepared the Hainanese Chicken already, the kitchen made one more Nasi Goreng by mistake..... so i took it away also, yay!

痛腳

feel so pain on my right foot these few days... the red highlight part from the pic...
i don't know why... mayb the sneakers i wore are not suitable to walk too much... or my bad sleeping posture... when i woke up after napping at the car, i feel pain after i got off... mayb i slept too deep and hurt my toes when i fallen asleep...
on that day, i didn't feel that serious.... but the next day, when i walked to Toowong for having a coffee, i started feel pain... i spent a few hours at shopping center till it's time to work..... that's the first day i worked for evening shift at LS... it's public holiday for Queen's bday.... double pay!! so despite the pain, it's great to work on that day... 
off duty at 8:15pm... the foot was still pain.... i limped to the train station... b4 i arrived, i'd already found that only got some express trains which won't stop at Toowong or Taringa on the screen... but i still walked to the station and asked the staff... he told me i may take the 444 bus at King George Square station... i limped to the there... that's the first time for me to take bus at that station... it's an underground station... i almost got the wrong way... when i saw the bus going to cultural center........ i wondered if that's the opposite way....  no one at the bus stop... i believe should be wrong.... i limped upstairs and asked a gal.... she told me i should go the Moggill way... i even never heard of Moggill.... anyway, i got the right bus... 
i called May to pick me up after i got off the bus.... they told me not to walk home myself at late night time... my right foot was killing me anyway...

i'd already did some massage with the chinese medicine, but seems it's still no reaction... 
i can't take sick leave.... u know, "Hand stop, Mouth stop".......... no work, no pay, then no $ to pay for the rent and food.... so i still cope with it while working, still walked around to serve, to clean up.... juz pretend nothing happened on me... no one awared that... 
before work, i suddenly remembered i should take a panadol... i forgot to take it b4 left home, i bring this along in my luggage... but since i forgot to bring, i bought it at pharmacy today.... i found that it's even cheaper than HK.... took it b4 work, but seems it's doesn't works on me... sigh....

today when i made drinks for myself after i off duty, i remembered not to drink lemon tea.... it's sour.... and also the pearl.... it made from sticky rice... and remembered not to eat spicy or sour food.... so i juz ate BBQ pork, crispy pork belly and chicken.... that's good for my skin too... too many pimples recently... 
hope i can recover soon..... i couldn't call Dad.... but still can call my dear heavenly Father.... pls cure me, God!!

untitle

got the news that another HK working holiday visa colleague suddenly quited the job.
i found she didn't need to work last week, i thought she applied leave for short trip... but i saw her name had been already taken out in the coming week roster......
another colleague asked me if i know what had happened... he heard that she got some urgent thing need to back HK....... but.......... this is not an excuse that every working holiday backpacker would tell?
i guess....... she's moving on??  i tried to remember what we were talked abt last time we met.....
she's later than me for two days arrived Brissie and Aussie, and she's already move on to next destination... the 4th months is almost coming.... actually should i go? worth to stay? or juz stay longer and go? i'm failed to get the busking permit ............ i'm failed......... failed!!! loser! 無鬼用!!! 下次下次... 下次大概可以............... 真的嗎??? .......... 難度我就這樣嚇跑無下次...............

First Body Combat Class at Aussie

left HK for almost 3 months... that means 3 months didn't gym, didn't body combat. although i had attend the zumba class, it's a latino dance school... not a gym, no equipments, no shower, no changing room...
u know, actually i played body combat earlier than any dance classes when i was just start group X. i still love BC so much... it's still the best way to release all the stress... and great workout.

woke up early this morning (yea, a bit earlier for me... for May is later than normal... (Aussie office ppl used to start working at 7am..) i paid $20 for one day pass at Toowong Fitness First.... actually it's quite expensive since May said it can be $17 for one week... if i attend more, it should be worth it... if $15 per zumba class for 45 mins at the latino dance school.... and i found there's one hour zumba class here, it's juz starting from this week! but only one class for the whole week.... what if i attend zumba + BC non-stop? seems i never tried this combination b4....

BTW, i attend the 8:30am morning BC class... today is still in BC 44 new release, i tried BC 43 b4 i left... so the "shoot" is not new for me...
the cat stand changed to slow continuous front kicks than switch to side kick and hold... it's challenging... i can do well for the left side (i think coz my right leg can stand still and balance better)
i quite like the Muay Thai track... is that Muay Thai track? three right elbows, and a left downward elbow with jump.... 
surely i miss the ginga too...
even i didn't play BC for 3 months, and new release, i still can follow and cope with the whole class... yay! surely it also relate to the instructor, Yvonne... she's a muscular but fit instructor, i think the age is similar or a bit older than Rachel, the BC representative. Yvonne's cue is clear and at the right time. not much mistakes (although i don't know this release, at least her presentation is confident enough to believe she's got no mistakes, ar... no, one mistake only... while two hooks she did one and did the upper cut earlier=p
her posture is not bad and powerful enough (her bicep.... pretty strong)... she teaches Body pump too.
for the classroom, not too crowded, enough spaces, the ceiling is tall and they got fans (i mean the machine with blades that go round to create a current of air, not ppl)... so the air supply is good... 
after that, i did some weight for my abs, thigh... i think it's time to build up my thigh muscles, i can't run the steep slope while running with May and Heng... i always change to walk at the middle of each slope... those muscles i built up at Body pump classes i attended at HK were gone already...


one thing i dislike.... they don't provide towels.... more stuff need to bring along for gym.... 
so HK california ppl, don't complaint on can't request change another set of towel. 
no shampoo and conditioner provided as well although cali is not providing good quality of shampoo and conditioner....

the class after the BC class was Body Attack... first time see what's Body attack.... so aerobics.... i don't have interest to try....

anyway, i enjoyed the class so much today, sweated alot....
i used to use hand wraps, i didn't bring it (i've got more than 10 handwraps at HK! see the pic)
without handwrap, seems miss something, but i should learn not to rely on it... no handwrap can still fight.... the power is not come from the handwrap, but myself, rite?!

Busking

sigh... finally i got the result for busking... unsuccess.......

that little accident, no amplifer, not enough confidence and too tense .........altogether....... failed...


be frank, i actually don't have that much time to busk.. i rather prefer got some time left for going out.... 
juz want to experience how would it be........... i don't want to do it when i become an old single lonely woman, busking on the street, earn for living... that would be sad.... 


should i join the next audition?? when will it be?? another 2 months? again, how long should i stay here? anything worth for me to stay?? or wait if i'm going to melb, perth.........etc.??

work

seems so lazy to blgging recently....... let's talk abt my work...
this few day got special thing happened...
yesterday, i was assigned to work for opening... i arrived a bit earlier... when i turned on the lights, i found that Ronny, our boss was there... using his laptop working... he seems so concentrated and i didn't border him, juz turn down the TV sound after i turned on the TV.
then i do the things as usual, and he left b4 Carol, our manager came back...

when it was the time to open the gate, i found that no key at the original place. i asked Carol and she given me another key, then i asked the cook who made the Roti (i still don't know his name:p) for help. but the key couldn't open the lock.... i told Carol and she seeked help from somewhere else, she got another brunch of keys and finally we opened the gate... phew.......

this morning, when i was back, i saw the computer seems got problem to login.......
then Alice told me today may need to take order by hand writting... huh?!
ppl still go to the counter, but we need to check the price ourselves, use the calculator.......
the order sheet would be have another copy at the back for kitchen....
but we never compromise how to write... i saw Alice used English, but afterwards, we found that the chef didn't know what dishes it is... so we changed to Chinese... and it's so complicated to write the whole name... and a bit different whie serving...
and such a messy.... luckily Ronny came back and fixed the computer... otherwise, at the peak time, should be die hard...

new zumba instructor

since May told me she would go to gym today, i tried to find something to do.... and i still prefer dancing...
go to Milton again for the Zumba class. today's class with Mio & Simone, a new local instructor.
i didn't count how many songs altogether, 10? if 10, then 3 songs were instructed by Simone.
i actually like Simone's style more, mayb coz she's a westerners but black hair... more Tanya feel.... or mayb Brissy are like Ayisha... anyway, she's more energetic.... and the moves got some more crazy stuff... shake the butt... while i was shaking my butt, Lenny, Mio's hubby came in front of me.... he given me five while the song was finished...
with Simone ans Lenny, the atmosphere was good....
mayb i should try more simone's class or try some more instructor... but i only know how to get their location at Milton or city.... not much choice.....

today, i know one more frd, Lisa... seems each class i know one more ppl... first class, Shela... second class, Paula... today, Lisa.... but i didn't see them again at the next class.....

a story of a Geisha

waited for more than two months........ finally this day arrived... i had once said i won't stay here for that long... how can i wait till mid may.... but time flies....
practiced a while this morning and worked as usual today... but didn't stay too long after off duty.... b4 i go, i asked Andy and Denise not to tell anyone if they know anything abt my busking from facebook... i even asked Andy don't walk around at City after work.... don't wanna let them see me busking on the street .... actually i don't care how they see me... just don't want to let my company know what i'm doing... i don't want to affect company image... but will i?? anyone would recognize me after i changed my uniform??

backed home and got my SanXian and back to City again... juz on time... it started at 4pm.
when i checked in, they told me i'm on the first one of the list........ huh?! they asked me if i'm ready... i said no, i still need to tune the strings... so they arranged another girl came first... an Asian guitar player... not bad...

then i was the next one... no music stand... i used the chair... someone asked if i need him to take the score folder for me.... haha, it's weird and i refused...
someone yelled for me...
shit, without any amplifier,  the sound is really not enough... and mayb i played too hard... the bridge suddenly came out at the 2nd half of the sound... i thought the bridge was broken... but it actually juz came out... in this 20 years.... this thing never happened........ except it really broken... mayb coz of this SanXian, or mayb coz i played too hard for making the sound louder.... anyway, sigh............
other buskers are mainly guitar players.... one trumpeter, one vaudevillian...
don't know how the result will be, need to wait for one week...
if i can't success....... i will be quite disappointed... that's one thing i really want to do for my working holiday.... otherwise, i don't have to bring this.... at least let me earn the price of the new SanXian....

Little Hong Kong

i went to Little Hong Kong Restaurant at Sunny Bank with May and Heng yesterday nite.

Little HK is one branch of my company and as they mentioned the Roast Meat are good. Even my colleagues & our chef told me abt that. and to heal my home sick... i should try it.
 
the cold weather makes me missed the congee and HK style milk tea.... ha, chai latte...
these are what we ordered...

why no Crispy Pork? they were so curious on how "冰火" it would be :p
BTW, Little Singapore got the same thing, i tried already.... not bad, should be same since they are now do them together and distribute to all the branches....

the intestine is lovely, the congees are okay, 粥底夠綿... except the 薄脆,,, i think it should be more crispy and thin... for the BBQ pork, it's such a fat BBQ pork... depends on which taste u prefer...
the Milk tea.... why it come with paper cup................. the cup is one of the important thing for HK style milk tea.... the taste... i think there's not enough milk...

for their service.... haha... my occupation sick came again...
when my congee was being served, i found some raw minced beef under the plate....
when Heng's noodle was served, after he ate a piece, they suddenly took the dish back... he asked them what had happened afterwards, the manager said they forgot to put the noodles.... in fact we ordered one BBQ pork mix Roast Duck w/ noodle and a BBQ pork mix Roast Duck... don't know they mixed up two orders or really forgot to put the noodles for the first order.... anyway, so funny while they took the dish away...............
why they can wear black shoes with white edges?? even one man wore non-black pants... i don't see this happened in LS...

the TV was broadcasted TVB 飛女正傳.... the costume design is so so............ but i heard that Ada Choi was so popular recently... i juz don't like their look...... esp. Moses Chan.... his white hair is really disgusted.

after had the congee, i felt so warm and satisfied, not that home sicking =)

letter

finally i recieved one of my son's letter from GuangXi YiZhou. i'd waited for a few month already. since i'm don't have stable address here, they arranged my group leader to scan the letter and email me.
after i writen two rounds of letters (three students altogether), one b4 i left and one after i arrived Brissie.  i finally got one. but after i checked the date, it was 9th Feb... more than 3 months!!
i think it's even earlier than my first letter delivered to him. he written to me while he got Chinese New Year break.
at the beginning, he kept on repeating he is from poor farm village, he must get a good job after finished his study.
he said he envy me so much that i can travel to other countries, yes, i'm so fortune, i can choose where to go, where to stay. everyone is busy, i'm relatively relaxing.
he also asked me something abt friendship, how to deal with that kind of situation.... i must reply it carefully, i hope my comments will be applicable for him.
he thanks my book that i given him this new year, i'm so glad that he likes my book and willing to use the method that i given him to improve his English.

when will i received my daughters' letters??

Mama, i miss u badly...

this morning,i'd been to Wesley Church that i attended last Sun. since i missed the train, i took another train which made me late for abt 10mins. when i was arrived, it's already children time section. Since today is mother's day, they arranged a Mum with her two daughters sat at the little stage with the pastor. the pastor asked the daughters how good her mum is...
after that, the pastor asked us to think of one good thing that our mum is and shared to those around us... since there's not many ppl in the church, we are not sat closed to each others, when i looked around, seems the one beside me feel shy to share, so i juz kept it in my mind...

my mum fully support my decision... the decision for working holiday. although she worries abt me, cares my needs, safe or not? she still support me and did a lot of preparation b4 i go. she asked her colleagues who also had working holiday b4, bought things for me, given me fincial support.........etc.

and i think working holiday is different with studying, studying is juz stay at one place and have teachers and classmates to take care. working holiday is really enjoying backpacking life, to roam about, no one can expect how the working life would be... so u know how would my mum worries on me??
and i was chatting with my sister using msn video chat, i saw mum is still working for me, she's packing my stuff back to the cabinet... she should be saw my room in a mess and tidied up for me... how good my mum is!!

after i finished work, i made a phone call to home, Dad answered the phone and told me Mum possibly got a function now, i've better call them tonite while they are having dinner together... okay...

Leeeeeeeeeeeeeeet's Zumba!

i've been here for nearly 2 months.... that means i didn't dance for almost 2 months...

b4 i arrived, i had ever thought of find some dance school to attend Hip Hop class, Zumba or play body combat. Wondered if the instructors here are better or not.

since i watched the Zumba TVC and went to Zumba official website, i about to know where can i attend the class. but i think the location are hard to go for me....

how can i get there? but when i was walking around the Brisbane City, i saw a Zumba banner... class here... at the Balcony... and i saw it's by Viva Latina...i searched it from the website again... cool! there's class at City and Milton... 

the location for city is at a cocktail Bar called Balcony 153... don't know how would it be...

the location for Milton, is the head office, is the Latino dance school by Lenny and Mio. 

AUD$15 (HKD$105) per class. 45mins.  at this time, i love California Fitness so much... HKD$2XX (AUD$3X) per month but unlimited classes.... great instructors as well.... if it's Hip Hop class, i think it's worth it and should be 1.5 hrs if at dance studio like Studio Danz...
but i'm here, i still have to cope with it...

i planned to attend the class at City on Mon... i think i will off duty at 4pm and the class will be at 5:30... 

since May told me she has classes these two days, i should find something to do... i planned to go Sun Tanning, but after i looked at the weather forecast, i changed my mind, i thought Sun tanning after work on Friday and go Zumba on Sat should be better.... 

so after work on Fri, i walked to South Bank Street beach and had 1 hour Sun tanning.... 3pm.... the Sun light is mild... it's not a bad thing since the Sun here are to strong, it's harmful to Sun Tan at noon... mild sunshine and tanning slowly can get better skin colour...

for the Zumba class, i made a call for reservation this morning. since i don't know where it is, and checked the train schedule, i arrived a bit earlier.... 

it's easy to find... although when i left the train station and asked a lady where's the railway terrace, she couldn't answer me... but i used my sixth sense, and tried to turned left... and i saw those restaurant like the Paris tower... and then i saw the road sign, Railway Terrace!! i walked along and since i had took a quick look at google map, i abt to recongnise the location.

i knocked the door, no one answered... i think should be too early... they said 10mins b4 the class, i've even ealier for 10mins more. after that, i saw a lady, bring along a tower and bottle of water, i think she's also attending the class. i asked her if she is going for Zumba, she said yes and i asked if we should wait here.... chatted for a while and i told her i'd been to Zumba classes at HK... 

the instructor came afterwards... a couple... the instructor is Mio, a japanese lady and her hubby, Lenny is a local i think... the one who answered the call for reservation. 

b4 the class, i continued to chat with the first lady i talked to. she said she called Shela. 

she asked me if there's guys in the class at HK.... i told her, in the class of HK, can be 80-100 ppl in the class, and i think 10% are guys.... but among those 10%, they are all.......... haha =:X

for our class, i think there's abt 2X ppl, besides Lenny, only one Indian is guy. 2-3 Asian... other are local ladies, most of them 3X? mayb 2X... i really no idea on how to read their ages... 

Mio is a typical Japanese face lady, looks young and pretty. Her shocking pink Zumba uniform and tailor made black top, shown her nice abs... i think it's really engaging ladies to attend her class, and dreaming to get nice figure as her.... 

for the class, some chereo. are nice, esp. one song that also used by George, the chereo. different for sure, but i like she modified it by make it turn 360 degree.... 

for a salsa song, while Mio used same direction with us, Lenny faced us and sing.... 

follow the music... it made me laugh...

although only 45mins here, i still got sweated and enjoyed the class. 

after the class, it's promotion time =p they said there's mothers' day special function, $20 can bring along our mother.... my mum is at HK!! and there's will be a performance later at June... and Lenny said since it's Sat, we are not in hurry, they could show us some of their showcase... they dance Salsa......... from the dance, they looks very match, Mio's hair is so long, it became the focal point... the flying hair........... even longer than the long hair b4 i go to Aussie. 

let's see when will i attend the class next time.

Sunday, the day of God.

Sunday moring, should be a time to worship God. although back home late the nite b4, i still woke up early to go Church.
Being received a call to work on Sunday morning, and the one who open the shop.... need to arrived at 10:30am, i chose another Church again. This time, i chose the Albert Street Uniting Church at City. they have 9am sunday service. josephine attended that church b4.
i thought, start at 9am.... should be finished at 10:XXam... mayb i leave early if they can't finish b4 10:20am.... when i ask the receiptionist, they said it finish at10:15am..... GREAT!!! perfect fit timing...
this church is a traditional one and the installation are the nicest one i had ever seen here. the pastors wear robe. the organ.... grand and engraved patterns on it. it's Baroque?i'm not sure.
but despite this church is that traditional, i found the sermon is not that boring...

the hymns, only the last hymn i heard b4.... and their hymns book is different. the score and the lyrics are not printed together... it's hardly read... just like what our conductor Ms Law said, eyes playing Ping-Pong...
there's a song offering time by Wesley voice, a duet by a Soprano and Tenor. their voices are lovely.... don't know if the acoustics makes the voice even better or they are really genius... but no doubt, they are gifted singers. i wanna quote the commons for Susan Boyle at American Idol... "it's a privileged to hear your voices."

the holy communion time, they used a large piece of bread, soft one... and we have to come forward and kneel down and received the bread and blood. 
the receiption was very considerate, he knows i don't know what to do, actually i thought of if the elderly goes first? coz seems those besides me are elderly... he came to me and asked if i want to get the holy communion, juz follow them... 
the feel is different...
there's not much people in this church, mayb youngsters prefer Rock band style church more. 
but when i left, the pastor asked me "how are u today?" i feel good because the pastor is not that far away. 
i think it's a good choice if i need to work at 10:30am shift again next time.

to work at Sunday, i found that it's table order even during lunch time. that's should be better for me since the table are fixed and don't have to be that rush for using the cashier machine. 
basically i can do it... only one fault i had made... but a big fault..... i think when i touch screen which table, 23 became 13.... then when the dishes are ready, they found that no 13... and the table for 23 kept on waiting... we juz tried to ask what they had ordered to make sure it's their dishes.... then the woman said, "aren't u are fast food shop? i waited for 7 mins already... "
then i tried clarify what had they ordered... after i found it that's their dishes, they left.... she said, "u even don't know what had i ordered!"... and remember, the attitude she used was extremely bad... crossing her arms and yelled like a bitch... only Chinese would be that rude... 
really wanted to strike her face... but just heard the sermon to become the salt and light for God... stay calm.... only apologize...

but don't give up!! actually i found that not only me made fault.... everone made fault... not only me in wrong table no, and someone mixed up skewered satay chicken with satay chicken rice...
but my "penalty" was took the dishes that that woman ordered... a Hainanese Dry Noodles and Char Kway Teow. normally we won't request to order those dishes when we off-duty... but thanks that woman... now i know Hainanese Dry Noodles got a bit spicy... Char Kway Teow no doubt is spicy.... they taste good!! Thank YOU!
